Ellula Inflatable Speakers

HotAir speakers: Blue
Are you tired of the noises coming out of your plain-jane speakers seeming so...flat? Then give them to your kids and get these, um, inflatable speakers. I kid you not, these speakers need to be blown up before they'll work effectively. Easily compacted for travel, they connect to any conventional stereo jack, come in many different styles, and have a gadget factor that's through the roof.

Too bad you can't fill them with helium and send them sailing through the roof, because that would be something truly cool. Sound wise, these speakers are pretty bad; virtually no bass and a muddied sound that seems to be at its best with pop music (har de har har). However, they can get noisy enough to bug someone nearish to you and they are portable, thanks to their inflatable nature and the addition of a battery pack.

The only real reason to buy them is to show off your inflatable speakers... which is a weird kind of cyclical downward spiral. Anyhow, listen to Jeremy Smith's review of these inflatable bad boys and hear co-host Ivan Baird nearly pass out from the effort of blowing them up.
