If you have no previous experience with doing your taxes, and normally rely on some big name place like H&R Block - or you have experience, just not good experience - then this is the program for you. Automatically determining what numbers go where, which ways you can change your taxes to improve deductions, on screen help to tell you what to do in each box, wizard driven questions or the old standby tax-form view AND being virtually (and completely) free, you cannot go wrong with TaxAct. The only fee that you might have to pay is the fee to E-File... and if you don't want to pay, just print the tax form and send it in. Listen in as GPF's Jeremy Smith quizes Ivan Baird about his total lack of economic knowledge, and why TaxAct is the best kept secret when engaging in DIY taxes.
